The results obtained from Ammonia Dosing System has been exceptionally good and the operation of the system has given confidence that the SPM level in the exit flue gas can be maintained as low as possible by adjusting the ammonia feed concentration. The ammonia dosing along with the fine tuning of the ESP will result in controlling the SPM level to as low as 20-70 mg/Nm3 in line with the latest guidelines for making the stacks smokeless. The technology developed by HWB can be passed on to other power generating units.
