5. INFORMATION ABOUT WRITTEN TEST
covered during the respective qualifying course. Each of the 100 objective type questions will generally have 4 choices (one of which is correct) namely A, B, C and D (see Table-1 for sample questions selected for different disciplines). Answers should be marked first on the Question Paper itself. An Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer Sheet will be given 75 minutes after the commencement of the Test. Candidates should then mark answers on the OMR Answer Sheet with HB / 2B or equivalent pencil.

is given on pages 3 and 4. In case any University/Institute is not listed, Code 000 should
be used and in such case also write complete name of the University/Institute with city in

Qualifying Degree: 4 degrees BE, B Tech, B Sc (Tech.) and BSc
(Engg.) are listed. Shade the oval against appropriate degree. In case qualifying degree
is not one among these 4, shade the oval against 'OTHER' and in such case also write name
of the Degree obtained in the space provided in the bottom.
Category: 5 categories SC, ST, OBC, DODPKIA and GENERAL are listed. Shade the oval against
appropriate category.
Date of Birth in the format - DD MM YY.
Contact Telephone No with STD Code.
Postal PIN Code of University / Institution from which qualifying
