IOD GOLDEN PEACOCK AWARD

Heavy Water Board has won IOD Golden Peacock National Training Award -1999 as runner-up. The award was presented in a glittering ceremony at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi on 22nd August 2000 by Shri L.K.Advani, Hon. Union Home Minister. The Golden Peacock National Training Awards are instituted by the Institute of Directors, a registered nonprofit Apex Association of Directors committed to improve the competitiveness of Indian business by focusing on development of its leadership. The Award was given to HWB in recognition of its outstanding contribution to training of the employees and the consequent improvements brought about in the field of safety, energy conservation and capacity utilisation.

AERB GREEN SITE AWARD

HWP (Thal) wins the "AERB Green Site Award" along with OSCOM (IRE). This Award is instituted by AERB to promote tree plantation and to ensure clean environment around the various units of DAE.

 

ICMA ENERGY CONSERVATION AWARD

Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association has conferred on Heavy Water Board "I.C.M.A Award for Excellence in Energy Conservation and Management" for the year 1999.
